My Kitchen Must-Haves

I’m really excited for today’s post! I’ve been wanting to do a post like this forever, but just haven’t gotten around to it until now. I guess life with four littles gets in the way of blogging a lot of the time! I really wanted to write this one though because I’m often asked for recommendations on kitchen items. I definitely have my list of favorites and wanted to share them with you all in one place. The things I’m linking to are all kitchen items I use almost daily! Some are definitely an investment, and I’m sure there are less expensive variations in different brands, but these are ones that I’ve used personally and love. A lot. So here it goes! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments.

First up is my beloved grill pan. If you follow me on snap chat (parsleynpepper), you’ve probably seen this pan about a thousand times. Also, everything pictured in the first picture was made on this wonderful pan…you guys, it has changed my life in the kitchen. It makes my food taste so delicious. I love that you just set it on your stove and are able to achieve a grill flavor right in your kitchen. This one is Le Creuset and I love the quality of that brand. I have a dutch oven and cast iron skillet from that brand also, and they are the sort of pans that will still be perfect in 20 years. Definitely worth the investment.

Next, these non-stick pans. There’s a lot of nasty, toxic non-stick pans out there and so these make me feel good about the food I’m cooking in them. There’s no toxins that can get into your food, and they work really well. Bonus points for being a GREAT price! I’m in the process of collecting the whole set.

I don’t think I’d cook or bake nearly as often without my 6 qt Kitchenaid mixer. There are smaller, less expensive options on the Kitchenaid, but trust me when I say the bigger one is worth the extra cost. If you don’t have one yet, save up and get the 6 qt! My mom has the smaller one and I find it really hard to use–the base never seems to screw in the right way so part-way through mixing something it pops off and goes crazy. I like that the base on this size just sits in place nicely. I also have needed the extra space many many times! It’s way harder to double recipes or make a big pot of mashed potatoes without more space. Trust me, I’ve used both and this one is worth it.

I have plain white, but I LOVE the aqua color. Heart eyes for days!

Next, a mandoline slicer. I’m ALL ABOUT saving time in the kitchen and this saves me so much! It slices everything in like two seconds flat. You definitely need one! I love this one because it has a box to catch what you’re slicing but I have this one:

Finally, these are such a simple thing but I LOVE them. I use them every.single.time. I cook! Get like 5 of them haha!

There you have it, my personal kitchen game-changers. Please let me know in the comments if there’s any other recommendations you’re looking for or if you have any questions! Thanks for reading!
